Minimum Course Requirements

If you are unsure you have the required credits for graduation, see a counsellor.

Each Grade has compulsory requirements that must be met before a student can be granted that complete grade level

• Grade 10

  • - ELA A10 or A11 or Francais 10
  • - ELA B10 or B11 or Francais 10
  • - One of: History 10, Social Studies 10 and Native Studies 10
  • - Math 10 or Math 11
  • - Science 10 or 11
  • - Wellness 10 or Phy. Ed. 20 or Phy. Ed. 30
• Grade 11

• ELA A20 or A21
• Math 20 or Math21
• One of - Social Studies 20, History 20, Psychology 20 or Native Studies 20
• One of  - Science 21, Chemistry 20, Biology 20, Physics 20 or Computer Science 20

• Grade 12

• ELA A30, A31 or Francais 30
• ELA B30, B31 or Francais 30
• One of - Social Studies 30, History 30, or Native Studies 30
• Two other Grade 12 level Classes

The minimum requirements for a completed grade at each level is as follows

• Grade 10 - 8 credits
• Grade 11 - 16 credits- total
• Grade 12 - 24 credits - total - (two of the credits must be from Fine Arts and/or Practical and Applied Arts)
